Pull of Polo has been a trusted name in fashion retail for over 25 years in Bodegraven, the Netherlands. After a change in ownership in 2019, the store began expanding its selection with new brands and a broader audience. With a growing team and evolving identity, it became clear that the brand needed to reposition itself, both visually and strategically.
The goal was to define a shared sense of purpose, modernize the visual identity, and create a clear and cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

As Art Director, I led the rebranding process from strategy to execution. This included running brand workshops, defining a new marketing direction, and translating the refreshed identity into a complete visual system.

@ Rikst Slingerland
We started with a brand workshop to surface the values, personality, and positioning of the store. From there, we developed a marketing strategy that aligned with the store’s ambitions and community roots. I then designed a new logo, typography system, and visual language that could scale across storefront signage, social media, packaging, and in-store communication.
The look needed to feel fresh and contemporary, while still honoring the store’s long-standing presence in the region.

The rebrand gave Pull of Polo a renewed sense of clarity and consistency, both for the team and the customers. The new identity has strengthened local recognition, made communication more professional, and laid a strong foundation for future growth both online and offline.
